line backing available for certain applications. Braided from super strong
"Gel-Spun" Spectra fibers, T.U.F.-Line is 40% smaller in diameter than equal
strength backing braided from Dacron. This reduces backing drag in the water.
T.U.F.-Line is a favorite with blue water fly anglers. Often a 100 yard long section is
installed between the fly line and Micron backing for this purpose. |
